The VirtualApp process mirrors this speed. The application takes no longer than a few minutes to complete in a simple process. Upon completion, an e-mail confirmation is sent directly to the applicant.

First Data has taken the benefits of VirtualApp and extended this convenient online application to brick-and-mortar merchants. The functionality and benefits are similar to those in the Internet merchant application. However, Brick and Mortar merchants now have the opportunity to select card-processing equipment for use in their stores.

Brick-and-mortar merchants can choose from a variety of point-of-sale equipment to meet specific business needs - from purchasing terminals to obtaining terminal ID's for pre-purchased equipment.

Selecting the equipment is as easy as using an electronic shopping cart. Simply select the equipment and purchase, lease or set up a customer-owned ID. The application takes no longer than a few minutes to complete in a simple, seven-step process. Upon completion, e-mail confirmations are sent directly to the applicant.
